The Surf Club held a meeting on Feb. 22, preparing for their March 14th meeting. They are gearing up on improvements on the Greenway. There have been four committees formed, with the Board of Directors heading them up. The Surf Club would love to have community involvement, please contact Kathy Davenport at 901-4614847.

Pancake Breakfast The Horseshoe Lake Volunteer Fire Department is skipping the last Saturday in February and is planning a Pancake Breakfast on March 26. Times to be announced later.

Plant and Bake Sale

The Hughes Town and Country Garden Club will hold an annual Plant and Bake Sale on April 9, at the old Flower Shop/Marina at 8 a.m., on Hwy. 147, next to Bonds Grocery, and go until supplies last.
