Emily Laxton Ford Hall

Emily Laxton Ford Hall, 90, was raised in the Munford area and moved to Memphis, then to West Memphis, passed away Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. She was retired from Wonder Snack Foods, a member of First Methodist Church in West Memphis and she and her husband, Donald, loved senior citizen ballroom dances and were active participants at the Lewis Center. They were elected King and Queen of the Mid-South Fair after being King and Queen at the Lewis Center for two years. She is survived by her husband, Donald Hall; son, Lindon Durell (Sharon) of Cordova, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Michael (Marcy) Laxton, Damon Laxton and Hollye (Jason) Ferguson; three great-grandchildren, Stormy Laxton, Cooper Laxton and Rachel Proctor; step-children, Donald (Cheryl) Hall, Jr., Scott (Dawn) Hall, Stanley (Edie) Hall and Frisky Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her sister, Tommie Rose; brothers, Paul Hanks, Edward Hanks, Leonard Hanks and James E.

'Doodle' Hanks. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 pm. until the service at 2 p.m. at the Munford Chapel. Interment to follow in Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford, Tennessee.

Noah Miller Sr.

Funeral service for 89 year old Noah Miller Sr., of West Memphis, formerly of Hughes, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at his daughter’s house in Horn Lake, Mississippi, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel A.M.E. Church, West Memphis. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:55 a.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church. Burial will follow at Paradise Garden Cemetery, Edmondson. Johnson Funeral Home, Wynne, in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include one son, Larry Miller of West Memphis; three daughters, Patricia Shavers of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Marilyn Johnson of Cherry Valley and Margaret Curne of Hughes; and one brother, Willie Webster of California.

Tommy Robertson

Tommy Robertson, 55, of Cherry Valley, passed away at home on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A. B. and Ruby Robertson.

He was survived by his wife of 23 years, Lisa Robertson of Cherry Valley; three daughters, Christi Jackson (John) of Trumann, Heather Epps (Kim) of Trumann and Kayla Young (Wade) of Parkin; five grandchildren, Mariah, Brenly, Drake, Johnna and Tommy; two sisters, Jania Karr (Benny) of Dumas and Rose Robertson of Wynne; two brothers, Keith Robertson (Lamasia) of Marked Tree and Mark Robertson of Missouri.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 12 to 2 p.m.

at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. Services will be on Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza.
