Run Wild for Life 5K Saturday
Benefit for WMFD ambulance service this weekend
ralphhardin@gmail.com The Junior High Destination Imagination Team from First United Methodist Church of West Memphis will be hosting a special rally this Saturday morning.
The “Run Wild for Life” 5K and health rally will offer free blood pressure checks, Smart 911 registration and more as part of the event. Registration for the 5K is $30. Donations will also be accepted at the rally. All funds raised beyond expenses will be donated to the West Memphis Fire Department ambulance service to help with area emergency services.
Destination Imagination is also accepting sponsorships. To sponsor this event or to register, go to fumcwm. com (sponsors will be recognized at the rally).
The 5K will be held at the Academies of West Memphis Arena. In the event of inclement weather, an indoor fun run will be held. For more information, call (870) 735-1805.
